The Challenge

HR was planning to temporarily revert to a manual recruitment process after a series of poor experiences with another e-recruitment provider.

There was pressure to find an alternative user friendly system that worked, and provided a good level of support at an affordable cost.

Recruitment Objective

When we first spoke to Coffs Harbour City Council they were utilising another e-recruitment provider, but finding that it was not user friendly and the service was not meeting their needs. They wanted to be able to give their managers control to cull and short list applicants, allowing HR to step out of this process as much as possible. They also wanted a solution for advertising their internal vacancies.

The Solution

We set up an internal careers page in addition to their external careers website, allowing them to manage that process separately. We also worked closely with them to support them in rolling out the response management tools to the Hiring Managers.
